Steaming Dung Cave

The name of this cave should be self explanatory. We found this cave while revisiting some small caves out by Lake Erie. A little searching of the area and we came across a nice small spring thaw stream that has cut a nice trough into the bedrock. The trough eventually runs into the bedrock and has created a 20 foot long room. Unfortunately due to the fractured nature of the rock and the amount of breakdown a dig is unlikely. With the amount of water to create the trough, one would expect the passage to continue under the rubble. No formations were present in the cave, not unless you include the steaming part of it. Another of the many small Ontario caves.

The entrance to Steaming Dung Cave. You can enter the cave stopped over.

Looking back out of the entrance.

The main room, the passage continues but is chocked with break down.
